Claudia and Andres are two youngsters who live in a grand mansion. Their evil aunt Aurora Sombria, a bitter and cruel woman, derives pleasure from abusing them and keeping them separated from their real mother. For the slight disobedience they are locked in the cellar: dark, dusty and full of spiders and mouses. In the dark of the prison, in despair, the two imagine a grand-mother Chonita that comforts them and advises them.
